ANNE LEMECHA (nee TEPLITSKI) Anne Lemecha passed away peacefully on July 23, 2000, at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg at the age of 84. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lou-Ann, Vera, Walter and Boris; her daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her friends. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph and her son Jerry. Annie was a kind woman who leaves us with warm memories of her many acts of consideration and generosity. Beneath her gentle exterior she was a determined woman who faced many difficulties in her life. Her greatest legacy may be that throughout all she retained her fondness to share a joke and some laughter. The family would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the staff at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg who have made it Annies home for the last four years, and the nurses at the Seven Oaks Hospital who were so kind during her recent stay. Annie was a great lover of animals and in lieu of flowers we know that she would appreciate donations made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue with Rev. Fr. Ernie Hafichuk officiating. Viewing will be prior to service. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
